I have always had good teeth, so over my 59 years, I haven't spent much times in a dental chair.

However, I started to notice that the bottom of my two upper front teeth were becoming paper thin and starting to chip. So I went to Dr. Gumucio because I knew him to be a nice guy; and, I trusted his judgment.

After examining me, Dr. Gumucio told me the problem was that because my bottom teeth were very crooked (which I knew), my bite lined up so poorly that it was wearing my top teeth down. This had been going on very slowly since childhood; and, now that my teeth were so thin, the chipping would only keep getting worse.

He gave me several options with different costs and time frames. However, he told me the best way to fix this problem was to straighten my teeth and fix my bite.. And the best way to do this was using the Invisalign system.

I discussed it with my wife, who said that since I use my teeth many times everyday, I needed to do things right. She also just happened to mention that she always hated my crooked bottom teeth; and, was thrilled that I would end up with a great smile.

Now, six months later, my teeth are straight and white. They look great, feel great and my wife is very happy (so am I).

Two other important points:

• I did not find the Invisiline trays to be uncomfortable. In fact, sometimes I forgot I was wearing them, put food in my mouth and started to chew with them on.
• Dr. Gumiucio gave me the most competitive price around for my treatment.
